Damian Lillard has been announced as the official NBA 2K21 Cover Athlete for current-gen. This will be the Blazers 5x All-Star PG’s first NBA 2K cover.
Speaking on the announcement, Lillard said:
“This is a special moment for me in my NBA career. I’ve been a fan of NBA 2K for years and love how they represent all aspects of basketball culture. I’ve been playing 2K my whole life and I’m honored to join the other NBA greats who have been on the cover. I’m grateful to all my fans and can’t wait for everyone to experience this game later this year.”
NBA 2K21 is set to release in September for Current-Gen and Holiday 2020 for Next-Gen. Also revealed:
- Next-Gen Cover Athlete will be announced July 1 (via Bleacher Report).
- Pre-order date for NBA 2K21 starts on July 2
