The NBA 2K27 Patch 1.4 Notes have been revealed, which mostly fixes stability issues and bugs. 2K said they are working quickly to resolve the most user-impacting issues being reported. The patch will release prior to the launch of Season 2 will contain a much broader set of fixes and improvements spanning the entire game.

- Made a number of stability fixes in The City game modes to improve the overall user experience.
- The friends list now appears at the top of the Social Menu in lobbies, making it easier to connect and squad-up with your friends.
- Fixed a potential blocker that could occur during the FIBA portion of the offseason in MyCAREER (existing saves can now continue).
- Added support for the PS5 Edge controller for Steam users.
