What is 2K Community Day?

2K Community Day is an invite-only, annual event where NBA 2K influencers, content creators, and other members in the 2K Community are invited to the 2K headquarters to try out the game early and for the first time. It’s been reported that over 100 content creators were invited to the event. At Community Day, invitees are able to play and test a build of the game early, while offering feedback to 2K devs.

The NBA 2K25 Embargo Dates have been announced at NBA 2K25 Community Day. This means the content that creators capture can’t be released until these dates:

  • Aug 27 @ 11 AM ET for MyTEAM, Play Now, WNBA, Learn2K
  • Aug 28 @ 11 AM ET for MyPLAYER Builder & MyCOURT
