Paul George Signs with 76ers, First Look in NBA 2K

The NBA free agency period is in full swing, and the biggest news so far is that Paul George has agreed to a four-year, $212 million maximum contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, including a player option on the final season in 2027-28. Check out the video of Paul George on the 76ers in NBA 2K24 in the video above.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, George and his agent, Aaron Mintz of CAA, met with a 76ers group that included owner Josh Harris, president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, general manager Elton Brand, and Sixers legend Julius Erving in Los Angeles last night. The meeting resulted in George committing to the 76ers.

At 34 years of age, Paul George is a nine-time All-Star and a six-time All-NBA selection, including being a first-team selection in 2019. Re-establishing himself as one of the top two-way perimeter players in the league, he averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the 2023-24 season.

George will team up with Joel Embiid, the recently re-signed Tyrese Maxey, and the rest of the Sixers in hopes of challenging the champion Boston Celtics as contenders for the NBA title.
