NBA 2K25 Season 5 is fast approaching and we have everything you need to know about the update. The Level 40 MyCAREER rewards is a +1 Cap Breaker and the Level 40 MyTEAM reward is a Dark Matter Brandon Roy Card.
The NBA 2K25 Season 5 update launches on Friday, February 21 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET and is headlined by Victor Wembanyama. The update will unleash a number of fresh content drops for MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and The W.

NBA 2K25 Season 5 Update
MyCAREER
NBA 2K25 Season 5 MyCAREER introduces the “Superhero” theme with Victor Wembanyama. Players can progress through Season 5’s rewards ladder, unlocking cosmetics, MyTEAM cards, and in-game items like the Personal Quadcopter and Superhero Outfits.
Badge Elevators are eligible for a +3 boost. From now through Season 8, you can use your Badge Elevators to climb three levels from Bronze to Hall of Fame.
MyTEAM
This season adds new anime-inspired MyTEAM cards, including a Level 1 EVO Victor Wembanyama card (Amethyst to Diamond). Players can unlock cards for Kelly Oubre Jr., Arvydas Sabonis, and Brandon Roy as they progress.
Team Heroes Domination is a new domination mode where players can compete against the best players from each of the 33 teams during their peak seasons. Winning rewards players with a Galaxy Opal Bob McAdoo card.
