With the NBA regular season soon winding up, here are our picks for the NBA End of Season awards:

MVP: Steph Curry, Warriors. A Curry vs Harden race, but Curry gets the nod for the top record in the NBA, improved defense, and the dominance displayed all season.

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER: Hassan Whiteside, Heat. The jump he made from a relative unknown, to Heat’s stat sheet stuffer, was huge.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Andrew Wiggins, Timberwolves. Clearly the best rookie from this year’s class.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Andrew Bogut, Warriors. The big Aussie has been the big defensive anchor for the NBA’s top defense all season, and is a feared rim protector.

6TH MAN OF THE YEAR: Lou Williams, Raptors. Has exceeded all expectations for his role off the bench.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Mike Budenholzer, Hawks. No one expected the Hawks to do this good.

EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR: David Griffin, Cavs. Getting LeBron to come back home, pulling off the Kevin Love trade, along with the mid-season Tim Mozgov acquisition, were great moves to turn this franchise around.
