If you’ve been wondering how to change your MyPLAYER name and/or your nickname from “MP” to something else in NBA 2K22, look no further. Here are the step by step instructions on how to change your name in the game:
How to Change Your MyPLAYER Name
1. In the main menu, go to “MyCAREER”
2. In one of the slots, select “New”
3. Select “Create New Build”
4. At this screen, choose a new First Name and Last Name
5. Finish creating the build
6. Select “Test Build”
7. Keep selecting “Continue” to start the game
8. Quit the Game
9. And that’s it, there you have it! Your MyPLAYERS will now have a new name
How to Change Your MyPLAYER Nickname
1. After making it to the NBA, go to the MyCAREER menu
2. Select “Options”
3. Select “Settings”
4. In Settings you can change your nickname under “Secondary Nickname”
5. In this screen you can also change your social media name under “Social Media Handle”
