Let the debates begin — today, 2K revealed NBA 2K22 ratings for the first time, with accompanying screenshots featuring next-gen graphics. Here’s the list of players revealed so far and their 2K overall rating:

NBA 2K22 WNBA Player Ratings:
- Candace Parker – 93
Oddly, some players who actually balled out and performed well, saw their rating drop or stay the same. Nikola Jokic won the 2020-21 NBA MVP, yet saw his NBA 2K22 rating drop from the 96 OVR in NBA 2K21 to a 95 OVR in 2K22. Stephen Curry finished 3rd in NBA MVP voting last season, won the scoring title, but went from 97 OVR to 96 OVR. And Giannis Antetokounmpo, who absolutely dominated in the NBA Finals on his way to his first ring, stayed the same rating at 96 OVR.
Either 2K has gotten stingy, or perhaps it’s a new evenly distributed tapering of the ratings system throughout. Either way, 2K ballers will be able to find out how these NBA stars perform in NBA 2K22 when it releases on September 10 for current/last-gen and next-gen.
