Here’s the latest info from 2K:
According to 2K, the app is “still waiting for approval” from Apple, which according to the Apple website, 90% are reviewed within 48 hours. The MyNBA2K22 App was previously available for Google Android (confirmed by Ronnie 2K in a September 10th tweet), but has since been removed.
Still awaiting on approval. It’s available on Android so it exists!

Here’s Apple’s app review process:
With the Google Android MyNBA2K22 app subsequently pulled from the Google Play store, it’s likely that 2K either rushed the app or is preferring to release both versions at the same time. Not as clear is what delayed it, how long exactly that process will take, and why the app approval process wasn’t completed before the launch date. But expect 2K to release the MyNBA2K22 soon in the coming days and also make an announcement. Be sure to check out the NBA 2K22 Face Scan Guide once the MyNBA2K22 app is ready, to get out there to hoop on the virtual court with your best look.
