Template Builds are back for the NBA 2K25 MyPLAYER Builder! For the full cycle of the game and for every NBA 2K25 Season, we are tracking how to create all Template Builds. NBA 2K25 Templates essentially are “replicas” or “clones” of a real NBA player in the game: things like height, weight, signature moves, jump shot, and more.

Templates are not identical / carbon copies of their NBA counterparts as far as attributes go, but they were optimized to be competitive options using their NBA ratings as a mold, and then maxed to 99 OVR, similar to custom builds (according to NBA 2K developers.)
