How Much VC to Get to 99 OVR in NBA 2K23?
In NBA 2K23, the amount of VC to go from the starting 60 OVR to a 99 OVR takes approximately a whopping 450,000 – 480,000 VC, or about $100 (it took 370,000 VC to reach 99 OVR in NBA 2K22). When you factor in additional VC needed for gameplay animations, outfits, tattoos, and kicks, the cost can go even higher.
When maxing out just one build costs more than the actual standard edition of the game itself, it’s got many frustrated 2K fans expressing that microtransactions have gotten out of hand and that the game should be a free-to-play title.
At the end of the day, 2K is a business in it to make profits, but lowering the price of a 99 OVR build for NBA 2K24 would still achieve plenty of revenue for the company since fans would likely create more and more builds that would require VC.
