In NBA 2K23, you can earn endorsements in the MyCAREER game mode, such as for shoe deals, sodas, and more. Endorsements are earned when you gain a certain amount of fans in after-game questions or highlight plays. Companies take note, then you discuss a contract, usually involving gameplay performances for a certain amount of VC.

- In order to unlock endorsements in the City, you need to complete quests.
- You get VC per event appearance, and you can choose from performance incentives to add to your contract. Those incentives earn you VC in game.
- The best endorsements always rely on picking the right incentives. There are a ton of incentives to choose from for each brand deal.
- Each one of them vary in difficulty because they are dependent on the position you play or your attributes and skills.
- Player position can change incentives, so pick the ones you are comfortable doing every time during a game.
- Endorsement deal opportunities happen automatically, where all you need to do is negotiate the contracts
- You can renegotiable deals once you accumulate a specific threshold of fans.
- Access the Brand/Endorsements section by going to MyCAREER menu > Progression > Brand/Endorsements. Here you can check and track your personal brand, fans, marketability grade, brand attribute chart, brand rewards, and more.
How to Grow Your Fanbase
The better you perform in-game during MyCAREER, the more your fanbase will grow.
- Put up big numbers. The bigger the stats, the bigger the fan increase.
- Make highlight-reel plays and mix up your moves. Alley-oops, break-away dunks, ankle breakers, etc. all contribute toward earning more fans.
- You can see the fan gains by looking up at the crowd where it’ll be displayed after a fan-pleasing move or play.
