According to the official social media accounts of Churchland High School, they have partnered with 2K Sports and will have their H.S. gym featured in NBA 2K20. This gives all indications that a high school type of mode or tournament style event will be making it’s way back to the NBA 2K series. In NBA 2K17, 2K introduced a high school MyCAREER storyline where users would start their MyPLAYER journey playing in high school games.

The most likely feature that will emerge from this new info, is that NBA 2K20 MyCAREER will have the inclusion of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, which has taken place for over 65 years at Churchland High School in Virginia. The invite-only tournament has featured prospects who went on to play in the NBA, G-League, and more.
Although 2K hasn’t yet confirmed it, there’s good reason that the new info from Churchland indicates that high school bball, and potentially the PIT, will be a feature in NBA 2K20 and part of the MyCAREER storyline.
