the problem with the game isn't the gameplay,it's that there is no reason to play it..Although the gameplay is good,the game doesn't give us an incentive to play/grind or get better at the game.There is no reason to be good at the game or consistently grind it.In nba2k21 although the community was split that year, the game still had the legend grind and competitive leaderboard events which people would grind the game for.In 2k22 there is no legend grind because they removed the rep system,and they also removed the competitive leaderboard events that the competitive park/stage players (which make up most of the 2k community) loved so much.This year, seasons were obviously introduced and i think that this was a cool idea but removing the legend grind for this was not ideal at all.The thing that makes rewards and prizes "good" is *EXCLUSIVITY* ..If everyone who casually plays the game receives prizes and rewards, then the rewards don't really mean anything..and on top of there being no legend grind or competitive leaderboard events THE COMMUNITY IS SPLIT.this has caused the game to feel "dead" and boring.. its harder to get games, there are less people to play with,and knowing that there is another game out there that people are playing, kinda takes away the "litness" or "hype" around the game that your on. I doubt 2k will make 1 game in the near future so that's just something we will have to live with considering the majority of people that play 2k are on current gen..(xb1,ps4) But to get the game lit 2k needs to bring back the legend grind (while keeping the seasons) and bring back the competitive leaderboard events.2K also NEEDS to add a mode in mycareer , (like how there is park,proam,and stage(ante up),) They need to add a competitive mode called “2k compete” where 3v3/ 2v2 events and tournaments are played for huge exclusive prizes and rewards..Depending on your qualifications in “2k compete” you can then later enter into cash prize tournaments.for example, Fortnite has the gamemode called *arena* where competitive fortnite players play and based on how good they play in arena,they later can qualify for cash prize tournaments…This would be HUGE for 2k , and i KNOW that this is something they can put into the game both current and next gen..if 2k does these 3 things (while keeping the gameplay good) the game will 100% be lit , we would have a reason to grind the game, we would have a reason to get better at the game...In the future, as a community we hope to all be on 1 game and we hope and beg for cross platform , but until then, bring back competitive leaderboard events,bring back the legend grind, And introduce 2K COMPETE -JU #nba-2k22 #nba-2k23
