Does NBA 2K24 Have Early Access?
Unfortunately, NBA 2K24 pre-orders didn’t come with early-access as a perk, but that doesn’t mean you can’t play the game early using other methods.

The New Zealand Time Zone Trick
This is the time of year for 2K ballers where everyone figuratively packs their bags and moves to New Zealand. Like in previous versions of the game, NBA 2k24 is simultaneously launching worldwide, so that means some locations – like New Zealand an Australia – will get the game “earlier” (for their time) than others. Enter the “New Zealand Time Zone Trick”. Mainly for Xbox, the trick is to get the game a few hours early (for your time zone) by setting your console’s time zone to “New Zealand”.

How to Play NBA 2K24 Early on Xbox Series X/S & Xbox One
- Go to ‘Settings’
- Scroll to ‘System’
- Click on ‘Language & location’
- Set the ‘Location’ to “New Zealand”
- Restart your Xbox
- Once the game comes out in your location, switch location back to your original settings
In past versions of game releases, there’s been no reports of bans that we are aware of from this, but use this at your own risk.
How to Play NBA 2K24 Early on PlayStation
You can activate your console account set up for New Zealand, but you would need to create a new PSN account set up for New Zealand, which may not be worth it.
