One of the most beneficial and time-saving quest rewards in MyCAREER is the “Rebirth” reward. Getting your rebirth build is something all 2K gamers look forward to as it gives us a head start on badges and attribute points. This year in NBA 2K23 it is reasonably simple to unlock the rebirth objective. All it will take is being 90 overall and sitting through a couple of cut scenes with Ronnie2K.
NBA 2K23 Rebirth Explained & Benefits
In NBA 2K23, the “Rebirth” rewards essentially gives new builds a “head start” in maxing out another build. Upon completing the rebirth quests, you will have a max starting overall rating of 90 on new builds. In addition to being able to max out to 90 overall, you will also begin with 25 free badge points that are randomly allocated to finishing, shooting, playmaking, and defending.
NBA 2K23 Rebirth Requirements:
In order to unlock the rebirth you must be a 90 overall on the build you’re completing the rebirth tasks on.
How to Unlock the Rebirth Quest + Rewards
After completing the quest, players will earn the Rebirth reward. The quests and rewards are slightly different between current-gen and next-gen, here they are below:
Step 1: Find Ronnie2K in the city near the North Side Knights courts to unlock the first part of the rebirth quest, which is to reach 65 overall.
Step 2: After hitting 65 overall, find Ronnie2K in the city outside the Embellish store in the shopping district. He will give you a new objective which is to reach a 75 overall.
Step 3: After reaching 75 overall find Ronnie 2K in the City near the 2K building and the North station. This will unlock the 4th and final Ronnie2K quest. Which is to reach an 88 overall.
Step 4: The last step toward unlocking rebirth for all your builds on NBA 2K23 is to find Ronnie2K just outside the South City Vipers courts and he will give you two quests, one is to reach a rating of 88 and one to reach an overall of 90. Reaching a 90 overall will unlock rebirth.
So there you have it, after skipping 25 different Ronnie2K cutscenes you have unlocked rebirth for the rest of NBA 2K23 and will get a head start on the competition when you choose to make a new build.
How to Unlock Rebirth on Current-Gen
On the Current-Gen version of the game, it is a much simpler process to unlock rebirth. Once on the G.O.A.T boat, you will receive a quest from Ronnie2K to reach a 90 overall. That is all you have to do, no cut scenes or running around the city, just reach a 90 overall.
