It comes as no surprise – NBA 2K25 has officially been confirmed by 2K. In a recent earnings presentation by Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (2K’s parent company), NBA 2K25 was officially announced and revealed that it’s release date is in Fiscal Year 2025, which positions it within the expected NBA 2K25 release date of September 2024.

In the earnings call presentation, Take-Two goes over its portfolio of games and their financial and business performance in the videogame market, which include performance assessments of NBA 2K25 and the official announcement of NBA 2K25 as an upcoming title:

What to Expect From NBA 2K25

NBA 2K25 is the official sponsor of the 2024 NBA Summer League, and like last year, we expect that the cover athlete will be announced during that event. Some of the cover athlete predictions include Anthony Edwards, Nikola Jokic, and more. The 2K Community has been vocal about what they want in the upcoming game, including better matchmaking, better season rewards and incentives, add missing legends like Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley, cheaper build costs, and more.
