The New Orleans Pelicans recently won the NBA Draft Lottery 2019 aka the “Zion Williamson sweepstakes”, who will presumably by the #1 overall selection. The 2019 NBA Draft will be held on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The NBA Draft will air live on ESPN and ESPN Radio and stream live on the ESPN App.
YouTube content creator, Shady0018, commemorated the Pelicans good fortune by creating an NBA 2K19 Zion Williamson on the Pelicans mixtape (see above).
Fans will be able to use Zion Williamson in NBA 2K20, with a likely release date of early to mid September 2019. As the #1 overall pick, it’ll be expected that Zion’s NBA 2K20 player rating will be #1 among rookies and possibly be in the 80’s like many previous #1 overalls in the 2K series.
