  • To increase assists and be an effective passer:
    • Icon-pass (Press RB / R1 then press action button of desired receiver)
    • Pass to the open man who’s in position to score
    • Move the ball to increase team chemistry
    • Use appropriate pass for each situation (Lob pass or bounce pass to feed the post, crisp passes around the perimeter, etc).
    • Avoid passes in heavy traffic
    • Target weak / low awareness defenders and be aware of defenders who are overplaying the passing lanes.
    • Utilize pass fakes
    • Try to be unpredictable to the defense
    • Join an NBA team with great offensive finishers and scorers so your teammates are more likely to convert the assist.
