Ben Simmons of the 76ers has been named NBA 2K19’s Australian Edition Cover Athlete. Simmons, who won NBA Rookie of the Year this year, is from Melbourne, Australia, and will be on the cover of copies of NBA 2K19 sold in Australia and New Zealand.
“It’s a huge honor to be recognized on the first-ever Australian cover for NBA 2K and represent the 76ers,” Simmons told Basketball Australia. “The Aussie fans are super passionate about basketball and specifically NBA 2K, so it’s very cool to be an ambassador for both.”.

Simmons joins LeBron James (20th Anniversary Special Edition) and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo (Standard Edition) as the cover athletes for NBA 2K19.  NBA 2K19 will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 7 (20th Anniv. Edition) and Sept 11 (Standard Edition).
