NBA 2K19 Cover Athlete on the standard edition is Giannis ‘The Greek Freak’ Antetokounmpo. The superstar from the Milwaukee Bucks was officially announced as the cover athlete in 2K’s live streamed special live event in Athens, Greece. 2K went to Greece to announce Giannis as the cover athlete in front of a live audience, where he talked about what it means to be the NBA 2K19 cover athlete.  NBA 2K19 is set to release on September 7 for Legend Edition and September 11 for Standard Edition.
