In what is definitely welcome news to NBA 2K #SimNation, it’s been confirmed that the charge cheese and 1-3-1 zone (something we saw all too often online in NBA 2K14) has been removed for the upcoming NBA 2K15 game. The 1-3-1 zone was a commonly used NBA 2K14 cheese move due to it being overpowered, over-effective, and the recovery speed of the players being too fast and reactive. Also it’s just something that coaches simply don’t use in the real NBA. The block / charge / no call is one of the most difficult events in real basketball to call, but with this latest news, it looks like NBA 2K15 will find the right balance.
